Delivery Policy

Below is a summary of our delivery policy which has been compiled to simplify our delivery terms.

All orders are processed and dispatched between Monday and Friday excluding bank and public holidays.

Orders placed before 14:00hrs will be dispatched the same day on the delivery service that you selected at checkout. 


All prices quoted for delivery are inclusive of VAT where applicable. 

Delivery costs are calculated using an algorithm based on your location, total order weight and quantities. 

Some areas of the UK are not eligible for free delivery . These areas include (but are not limited to):

  • Northern Ireland
  • Highlands & Islands
  • Parts of Scotland

Before you proceed to make payment, full details on the delivery cost (if any) and estimated date of arrival is given to you. 


We are pleased to confirm that we continue to offer free delivery on most orders above £40.00. Please note our free delivery service is an economy service and orders will not be shipped on an Express Service. 

Customers can opt to pay for a premium delivery option such as our Express Delivery (1-3 Working Days).

Some areas of the United Kingdom incur a remote area surcharge which will be quoted at checkout. There has been a significant increase in the charges to by carriers us and yet we do maintain the lowest possible we can.


Your order will be dispatched with one of our delivery partners including (but not limited to):

  • DPD
  • FedEx
  • Royal Mail
  • Parcelforce

Your order weight and volume will determine which carrier will be used to fulfil your order.


Large heavy items such as our generators are delivered on pallets by a specialist in this type of delivery. Palletline will deliver by pallet on a large truck. Our delivery partners are requested to call you approx. one hour before delivery so that you can be there in person to accept this obviously large and heavy item. If a redelivery is required there will be minimum redelivery charge of £25. If there is a failed delivery and the item is returned to us, there is a non-refundable £100 charge.

We urge all customers to ensure that the shipping details you provide are correct and up-to-date when ordering. In most cases our carriers will send you a text message (If a mobile number is provided) with an estimated delivery date and time. This service is not offered to all customers as service availability varies area to area. 


We strive to deliver all of our products swiftly. Our delivery partners are specifically chosen for their reliability and accuracy. We have developed a dispatch system that that optimises all the details in order to get your parcel to you swiftly and safely. When you place your order, you will receive your order confirmation. When your item has been dispatched you will receive a notification from the delivery company. They will then securely handle and deliver your parcel.


Our delivery companies will deliver to the address given on your order. No doubt you will have made arrangements to accept delivery. If they are not able to deliver, further delivery attempts will be made. Following further attempts, If you have not given special instructions ( eg. leave in a safe place or with a neighbour) your package may either be returned to us or, when possible, sent to a pick-up shop for you to collect.


If you know that you are not going to be in, that’s okay. We know that life is busy! Why not use the tracking number to give the delivery company instructions to leave your package in a safe place  or with a neighbour? They may also have an option for you to change the delivery date. If you inform them at the soonest possible opportunity, they will be happy to get it right for you. We deliver the quality tools and equipment that you love, and we love to get it right. Customers are encouraged to check their orders as soon as reasonably practicable and report any damage and/or shortages to us within 48 hours. Where possible provide as much evidence including photographs to support your claim. This will be dealt with efficiently by our team here in Louth, Lincolnshire in co-ordination with the courier in question. .
