ParkerBrand has been supplying happy customers with fuel transfer kits for over a decade. Quality production, on-point pricing and genuine customer aftercare have kept our customers fuelled up and satisfied across the UK and Western Europe for over a decade.
When looking at the range of transfer pumps we offer, you'll be forgiven for thinking, "Which one do I need?". This is often especially the case if you are thinking about how to power your unit. We know that our customers appreciate our accurate and informative product descriptions, but below, we clarify and expand on the different options that we offer in terms of power supply for our transfer kits with some added buying tips to boot!
You need to consider where you are likely to conduct your refuelling and what your set-up will be. If you have a static fuel tank at a refuelling station, then a permanent pump can be set up. If you are pumping from a portable container, you need to consider attaching your fuel kit to a 12v battery or a 24v.
Are You Operating From a Battery? 12V or 24V?
Transfer pumps rated as 12V or 24V vault are run from a corresponding battery. It depends on which type of battery your vehicle has (if opting for a portable version) or that you have in place if stationary. Most off-road vehicles, vans, and utility trucks use a standard 12v battery. It's a good idea to double-check before you order.
Generally, heavy trucks and diggers have 24-volt batteries, but it is better to check your vehicle to be sure before purchasing. Certainly, we always supply the necessary connections and crocodile clips for attaching directly to a battery.
230V (Mains Supply) Fuel Transfer Kits
As popular as ever, these kits are always wall-mounted and have a standard three-pin domestic plug that plugs directly into your standard domestic socket. No mystery, no messing. Fitted into metal housing, they are easy to mount on a wall and offer a great solution for transferring diesel to containers or refuelling vehicles and equipment.
