Recalibrating a ParkerBrand Fuel Transfer Pump

Recalibrating a fuel transfer pump typically involves adjusting settings to ensure accurate fuel measurement and transfer. Of course when you receive your equipment from us they are calibrated but with continued use the fuel meter may need re-calibration.

Ensure you follow proper safety procedures, such as turning off the power to the pump, wearing appropriate personal protective equipment, and working in a well-ventilated area.

Before making any adjustments, note the current settings and measurements. Your notes will serve as a reference point in case you need to revert to the original configuration.

After Recalibration

After recalibrating we advise that you perform the following:

  1. Conduct a test run with the pump.
  2. Transfer a known quantity of fuel and compare the measured amount to the expected amount.
  3. If necessary, fine-tune the calibration settings until accurate measurements are achieved.

Record any changes made during the recalibration process. This documentation can be helpful for future reference and troubleshooting.
