On the product page, we provide information about the 'Kerf' size. For those familiar with woodworking, this is a crucial piece of information. If you're new to woodwork or table saws, you might not realise that considering the kerf measurement is essential for accurate cuts.
In essence, kerf is simply the width of the blade, and on a ParkerBrand PTS-250, that's 2mm. It doesn't sound like much, but it's essential to factor it in when you want to work accurately and have a neat finish. It's all about factoring that 2mm in when you make a cut.
Although Parkerbrand produces a wide variety of supporting materials for our machines and products, we're still in production for a few. We've found this handy and straightforward clip in the meantime, that shows a great practical example of the importance of factoring in kerf.
