Huge Demand
The ParkerBrand PGWT-5200 wheeled brush cutters were first stocked by ParkerBrand in 2023 and took off immediately. This machine directly responded to customers' demand for an alternative to our super popular PGBC brush cutter. Both machines feature our established 52cc engine, but some customers found that while very powerful, they needed to be the right size for them. Now, after selling out in record time, they are back in stock!
Our wheeled trimmer is specially designed for those who prefer to lift minimal weight. Unlike a strimmer with a harness that needs to be carried, a wheel strimmer requires minimal lifting, making it ideal for users who may have back or shoulder issues. It is easier to manoeuvre since it relies on wheels for movement rather than the user's strength. This can significantly reduce physical strain, especially over extended periods of use. So it's an absolute win in that respect, but there are good reasons beyond that to opt for a wheeled trimmer rather than our 'traditional' harnessed PGBC-5200.
The additional stability the wheels offer makes it easier to maintain a consistent cutting height and reduces the likelihood of uneven trimming if you're new to the game. The PGWT-5200 is just one of our range of strimmers for different terrains and users. We can break it down like this:
PGBC-5200 Harnessed Brushcutter Strimmer
For precision cutting and total flexibility on mixed terrain, this ParkerBrand classic machine is the one for you.
PGWT-5200 Wheeled Strimmer
For minimal lifting effort and reasonably even terrain, the wheel trimmer is for everyone, not just those who would like to avoid lifting at all or strain themselves with 'sweeping' movements.
PGBC-5200-BP Backpack Brushcutter
This specialist backpack strimmer is an established ParkerBrand machine for uneven and sloping ground. It has really helped people manage gardens that extend onto hillsides.
Dual Function: Spool and Blade
All of our machines have two functions: Firstly, they are strimmers utilising a wire filled spool or, in the case of the PGWT, an easy-to-use hub. Secondly, all of our machines can be fitted with the supplied three-toothed blade to cut through brush, bramble, and thicker undergrowth.
